Prioritize Smart Financial Decisions

Throughout my life I have learned how important it is to be financially conservative. I work for a company in the construction industry. When the recession started in 2007, sales plummeted. It was difficult to stay in business. Because of earlier decisions to avoid debt and save, we were able to shrink in size, keep our assets and be prepared to start growing again as the economy improved.

This experience reinforced my financial beliefs of avoiding debt, prioritizing what is truly necessary, saving for unforeseen circumstances, and making improvements in phases that are financially responsible. We all work hard for what we have and I will respect the effort behind your tax dollars as the best way they should be used is determined.
